About the Role Due to continued growth of the business, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Graduate Engineer to join our team based at our Jandakot office. In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support to the business whilst building your knowledge of Contract Resources core services. This position will require you to work closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders and may also require site-based work on remote facilities. This is a great opportunity for a recent Graduated Engineer to step into the Oil and Gas industry and get on site experience as well as working with our senior engineers and clients. Duties will include but not limited to Produce and update project documentation, including work packs, work method statements, operating procedures and equipment pick lists. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the work scope is successfully planned and executed. Review and interpret technical drawings, such as equipment schematics, isometric drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams. Site focal point for quality control. Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for both Contract Resources and clients. Maintain a strong safety culture. Requirements & Experience Needed Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent majoring in Chemical Engineering Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs and specifications. Ability to complete manual work on site. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a team or independently with good initiative. Willingness to complete specialised training courses such as breathing apparatus, confined space rescue, working at heights and helicopter escape for offshore work. Previous vacation or internship work experience within oil and gas or resource sector is desirable. Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with key stakeholders. Current C Class Manual Drivers Licence. Full rights to work in Australia.
