Test Engineer – Future Mobility Testing - 6 Month Contract $55 - $65 p/h super 6 Month Contract Cudal 3677, NSW We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer – Future Mobility Testing to support the delivery of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) testing, research and development of future mobility technologies, vehicle safety innovation and technology development and Road Safety research programs. In this role you will be: Support test programs by preparing vehicles, including installing steering, acceleration, and braking robots, GPS units, and communication equipment. Maintain, operate, and calibrate specialized test equipment, resolving technical and software issues as needed. Ensure accurate and detailed recording of test documentation following internal quality system and National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) requirements. Manage and store test data, photographic and video files, and prepare detailed test reports. About you: Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aviation, or related fields from an Australian University or TAFE, or equivalent overseas qualifications. Genuine passion for robotics and automation. Knowledge and experience with communication systems (GPS, network, and radio), digital connectivity, and connected and autonomous technologies. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to investigate and think laterally when approaching new and unfamiliar technology. Experience in autonomous vehicles, sensors, or robotics is highly regarded. Ability to work in a team environment, willingness to learn, and think outside the box. Possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license. Willingness to work outside regular working hours, including testing in night-time conditions and travel on occasion. Ability to undertake physical work, including extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
