The Role With a diverse collective of peers and skillsets the Perth office has a great mix of z/OS experts, UI/UX engineers, QA analysts, as well as automation and translation specialists, we are looking to bring on board additional mainframe development experts to assist with product development. 21CS is seeking a skilled z/OS software developer who can work as part of a team using modern development methods that stress collaboration, transparency, focus on customer value and constant improvement. This role collaborates in design and code functionality for enterprise-level products that meet business and customer requirements. The Software Developer will perform code modification, analysis, testing, and debugging tasks as well as provide input related to product futures. Strong z/OS skills and a passion for learning are necessary to accomplish company and personal goals. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. Developing high-quality, efficient code in Mainframe environments. Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues to ensure system reliability and performance. Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior team members. Contributing to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them to enhance our products.
