An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Melbourne team as an Administration Assistant supporting our National Class Actions practice. Using your established skill set which you may have developed in other industries or roles, you will support our legal team with administrative duties. This role will suit a candidate with excellent customer service skills who has a strong ability to manage competing priorities and the capability to adapt to a quickly changing environment. You will be a driven and motivated individual who is eager to learn. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level, efficient, and confidential administrative support. Handle telephone calls by addressing enquiries, gathering relevant information, taking messages, or transferring calls as appropriate. Coordinate team planning days, regular team meetings, and related activities. Manage document and file organisation to ensure accessibility and compliance. Prepare and maintain targeted performance and time-tracking reports. Assist with the closure of cases, including archiving and ensuring compliance with organisational standards. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate appointments, manage diaries, and facilitate effective communication. Arrange and manage travel bookings and itineraries. Key Selection Criteria Exceptional attention to detail. Previous administrative experience highly regarded. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work as part of a hardworking team; and An understanding of court processes and systems and/or previous experience working in a legal environment will be highly regarded.
