Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with prior experience in freight forwarding to join their team on a temporary basis (1-3 months). The successful candidate will play a key role in providing pricing quotations, analysing and maintaining pricing programs, and supporting the team with a variety of pricing related tasks. Experience with CargoWise and a strong customer service background are essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support for pricing-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders Manage pricing requests from overseas agents for shipments to and from Australia (inbound and outbound) Issue quotations promptly and follow up with customers Source rates and prepare sales quotations or RFQ submissions on time Maintain and update global quoting platforms to ensure accurate and current pricing for spot quoting Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in freight forwarding and pricing-related roles Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team Familiarity with the freight forwarding industry and its processes Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Prior experience using CargoWise is essential A background in accounts or administration is desirable This role offers a great opportunity to be involved in key pricing processes in the freight forwarding sector, contributing to the smooth operation of the business.
