The Role Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer with extensive travel design experience to bring unique insights and design solutions to create their new platform - a travel booking engine. Your passion for travel, coupled with your design expertise, will be instrumental in shaping a product that resonates with frequent travellers. Key responsibilities: Play a key role in designing the travel booking engine, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly experience for booking flights, accommodations, and transportation. User-Centered Design: Develop intuitive and visually appealing designs informed by user research and your personal travel insights. End-to-End Design Process: Take ownership of the design process, from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, developers and travel industry experts to align design objectives with business goals. Usability Testing: Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback and refine designs for optimal usability and engagement. Travel-Specific Features: Leverage your travel experience to design innovative features, such as itinerary management, expense tracking, and destination insights. Responsive Design: Ensure the platform is seamless across all devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile. Design Systems: Maintain and expand our design system to ensure consistency across the platform You Proven Experience: 3 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in SaaS or travel-related products. Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs, with examples of web and mobile applications. Travel Expertise: Extensive travel experience (personal or professional) with a deep understanding of traveler pain points and needs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. Research Skills: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data driven design improvements. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present design concepts clearly. Agile Mindset: Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Knowledge of travel industry trends, tools, and platforms.
