Your focus will be on operating safely within a high-risk environment to maintain, install and rectify our plant and equipment on-site. We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker Welder to join our Operations team working 4 X 12-hour dayshifts Monday to Friday. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years prior experience as a Boilermaker, preferably in a manufacturing environment, hold an Engineering Fabrication Trade qualification (Boilermaking / Welding), be adaptable, self-motivated, have the desire to reach their goals, and can work safely and effectively with others to achieve great results. Your duties will include: Regularly maintaining plant and equipment. Rectifying breakdowns within a timely manner. Diagnosing issues using critical and logical thinking. Equipment installation and fabrication. Using SAP computer systems where necessary. Flexibility to be available for on-call work when required. Essential Selection Criteria: Engineering Fabrication Trade qualification / 1st Class Welder. Ability to interpret mechanical / engineering drawings. Competent and experienced in medium / heavy fabrication. A strong attention to detail. Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to select appropriate materials and welding processes. Experience in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding Demonstrated commitment to safe operation and a duty of care towards their team. Ability to work in a high-risk and challenging environment. Desired Selection Criteria: Minimum of 5 years fixed plant manufacturing experience. EWP licence. Working at heights confirmation of competency. Confined space confirmation of competency. A commitment to ongoing learning and training development. Essential Requirements: Proof of Australian Working Rights. A current High-Risk Forklift Licence. Current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain at own cost (essential). Drivers Licence.
