The Statutory Insurance Victoria team is based in Melbourne and is comprised of approximately 65 team members. We are a high performing team that acts for a large number of employers in the management of workers' compensation claims and litigation. We also have a thriving recoveries practice. The successful candidate will be someone who is energetic, eager to learn and committed to providing a high-level service to our lawyers and clients. You will be involved in: conducting conflict checks and opening files;reviewing and cross checking data and allocations;managing appointment bookings with doctors;drafting correspondence;compiling and reviewing data and reports;ensuring compliance with client requirements;distributing electronic mail;processing invoices; andother duties as required. About you You will ideally have the following skills and experience: confident using multiple computer programs;strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy;highly organised with excellent communication skills; andability to prioritise in a fast paced environment and perform to deadlines. This is a great entry level role. Past experience working as a Legal Assistant in a law firm is not essential. This is an opportunity that would be suited to law students and those interested in working in a high performing team within a legal environment.
