You will complement the existing commercial team with your experience, knowledge, and communication skills. Role Participate in scope of works planning and prepare procurement strategies, including, identification of potential subcontractors and procurement planning and timing Effectively manage subcontracts through all phases including scope preparation, procurement, letting and negotiating subcontracts, cost forecasting, variance analysis, subcontractor management, claims/variations negotiation and processing, completion and close out Draft and prepare contractural correspondence Provide accurate and timely reports, maintain registers, and prepare forecasts as required Assess commercial and contractual risks involved in delivery and implementation of projects and identify and implement controls Prepare interim reports including liabilities and cash flow forecasts About You: You will ideally have tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or similar alongside; 3-5 years' experience working as a contract administrator on the delivery of civil construction projects in Australia Recent experience working as a contract administrator on a DTMR or major road construction project will be highly regarded Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Solid understanding of procurement and contract processes Apply If you would like to express an interest in this opportunity, please click 'APPLY', or contact Gemma by emailing gemmaiepro.com.au All applications and conversations are held in total confidence.
