The Role We currently have multiple opportunities available for immediate starts in Newcastle and surrounding areas. We are seeking applicants for a variety of positions such as General Hands, Pick Packers and Storeman, to then experienced Forklift Operators and Front-End Loaders to join the Toll People team. The opportunities available range from AM to PM shifts Monday through to Sunday and are casual or ongoing roles. Key Responsibilities Working in a busy warehousing environment with high levels of activity Willingness to undertake manual handling and other general duties as required Loading, unloading, sorting, and relocating various types of freight Counterbalance forklift (LF) or Front-End Loader Using handheld scanners and operating computers or general administrative duties Unload trucks and or containers as required Skills & Experience Hold a current forklift licence (LF) Previous experience in the Transport Industry will be highly regarded Experience operating forklifts confidently and safely Load restraint experience including strapping palletised goods highly regarded Ability to handle up to 25KGS repetitively If you're interested in this role, please either click on 'Apply' or call Preet or Sophie on 02 4037 1500.
