About the Role We are seeking a Max-term (12 months) Full-Time Graphic Designer, Location: Blackburn, VIC to join our Brand and Campaigns team. Purpose of the role: Responsible for activating the holistic organizational brand strategy through creative and functional design to position The Salvation Army (TSA) brand to win hearts and minds to deliver sustainability, relevance and advocacy through understanding our audiences while delivering creative consistency and brand compliance across all aspects of TSA. Key Responsibilities: You will be successful in this role if you can: Manage design requirements by working with internal team members in support of the refreshed brand strategy of TSA across internal and external channels Understand marketing communications briefs and insights provided and translate them into actionable steps regarding the design approach to promote TSA with consistency Work with internal and external partners to develop highly effective marketing communications to support TSA’s content marketing strategy Design high quality branded collateral including brochures, reports, signage, logo lockups, event collateral and internal communications Work cross-functionally across other Brand and Campaigns portfolios campaigns/communications to meet the demands placed on the Brand department Qualifications and Skills Required: Degree in Marketing/Communications (or related discipline) 5 years’ experience developing engaging, relevant, integrated and campaignable creative in high pressure brand and campaign design work with experience across a broad range of branding applications A strong understanding of design across a range of offline and online channels, contexts and sectors, ideally including experience from a masterbrand perspective Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects and campaigns in a range of channels, contexts and sectors Experience in the development and management of brand guidelines/style guide in large organizations highly desirable Not-for-profit experience highly desirable Why work for us In return we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as: Positively supporting and impacting the lives of others through your career contribution An inclusive culture of dedicated, passionate and professional team members NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefits Flexible working conditions Paid parental leave Financial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefits Employee Assistance Program - Independent confidential counselling service Opportunity for career development How to Apply Should you be interested, please submit a copy of your resume and cover letter.
