Responsibilities: Plan, deploy and configure networking and cybersecurity systems, including next-generation firewall (NGFW) technologies to optimise the ability to monitor, detect, prevent and quickly respond to cybersecurity threats Provide expert advice and undertake configuration of networking equipment and systems to strengthen the posture of research networks Work as part of the network modernisation project team to configure and install new network switch hardware Work as part of the network modernisation project team to support network segmentation initiatives Skills: Minimum of 3 years administering, managing and/or supporting one or more of the following: Cisco Routing and switching (NAC and 802.1x) Designing and implementing Cisco network solutions Configuring and supporting Cisco network equipment including routers and switches Next generation firewall (Palo Alto) technologies and ruleset reviews To apply for these interesting and long Network Engineer contract opportunities please apply or call Matt on (02) 6299 1006.
