We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrators to join our team, starting in February 2025, for a contract position running through June 2025, with the potential for extension. This role offers flexible working arrangements and provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in contract administration within a collaborative team. Location: Melbourne, with offices in Cremorne or Lonsdale. Initially 5 days per week onsite with a move to hybrid working after a few weeks (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). Flexible hours available for school pickups or other personal commitments. Responsibilities: Assist with the onboarding and migration of subcontractors as part of a significant contract mobilisation. Process between 500 to 1,000 subcontracts. Ensure compliance and due diligence throughout the process. Review proposed subcontract departures and ensure they are appropriately escalated for resolution. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple levels to support the contract administration process. Use standardised templates to populate subcontract documents with core information. Handle routine contract administration tasks, allowing senior team members to focus on more complex issues. Ideal Candidates: Minimum 1 year of contract administration or project administration experience. Familiarity with subcontract documents and contract administration processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Ability to take initiative and ask questions to ensure the work is done accurately and efficiently. Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Adobe Sign. A relevant degree in Finance, Business, or Commercial is welcomed, though experience is valued more than qualifications. No legal background required, but the ability to quickly understand and address frequently recurring contract terms and departures is important. Additional Information: Competitive hourly rate of $45 to $50 per hour, depending on experience. High potential for contract extensions and permanent positions later in the year, subject to contract wins and individual suitability.
