Company Your new company is an Australian owned and operated company with over two decades of operations here in Australia. Due to recent upgrades and expansions, they are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team on their day shift roster. Role In your role as the Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for responding to machinery breakdowns as well as carrying out preventative maintenance and upgrades. Working alongside production to ensure maximum machine uptime around repairs/breakdowns/upgrades. You will also be required to perform basic PLC troubleshooting. You will also be heavily involved in the installation and commissioning works for their new factory. Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: Relevant electrical trade qualifications Ideally 3 years of experience working as a maintenance electrician Ideally experience within a FMCG or manufacturing environment Exposure to PLC troubleshooting Those with any relevant additional certificates or tickets will be highly desirable Ideally exposure to MEX Rewards In return you will be rewarded with a high hourly rate and will enjoy working in a new air-conditioned factory.
