Reporting to the Team Lead, this role involves designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components to required specifications, with a focus on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems and components. Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLC), with a preference for Rockwell and Siemens experience. Utilize AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design. Create and interpret electrical/control schematics from specifications. Read, understand, and interpret control schematics and associated documents, including bills of material and relevant drawings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Prepare technical reports and documentation. Qualifications: Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, and/or Controls Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering. Experience in programming and configuring PLCs, with Rockwell and Siemens experience highly desirable. Strong knowledge of electrical design, including the use of AutoCAD Electrical. Proficient in designing electrical/control schematics from specifications. Capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting control schematics and associated documents. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
