Company An immediate opportunity has just arisen for an Estimator to join a growing Geelong based Civil Construction business with a growing profile. This company works across the civil industry, delivering civil works for projects such as commercial, schools/universities, shopping centers, roads and more. They continue to grow and are now seeking to expand their team with an Estimator who is looking to grow with a business. Role As an estimator you will be responsible for assisting with scoping projects, material takeoffs, pricing materials/labour/plant, working with consultants/suppliers, risk mitigation, exploring variations and the development of alternatives. You will be supported by a very experienced leader who will be a great mentor and thus they are seeking to employ an individual who is serious about a long-term career with the business. Background To secure this role you will be a tertiary qualified Civil Engineer, have strong post-graduate experience and have local experience in the delivery or estimating for a range of civil projects that have included; earthworks, structures, concrete, roads, services, drainage and more. Experience on commercial civil projects is highly sought after but we will look at candidates with a civil background that are keen on securing a long-term opportunity.
