Job Opportunity: Shift Electrician (A Grade Electrician) Location: Benalla Talent Focus is seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Electrician to join the team with one of our trusted clients in Benalla. The Role: To minimize downtime by repairing breakdowns in an effective and efficient manner. Maximise uptime by completing Preventative and predictive maintenance as directed and scheduled whilst providing a list of components used to the stores, supervisors for reordering through company processes. This full-time role reports directly to the electrical coordinator and plays a key part in overseeing the main framework while working a team of 5 experienced Electrician's. General Duties: Maximize machine availability and reliability to ensure smooth production. Complete preventative maintenance tasks as per schedules and comply with quality standards whilst safely operating machinery and following all processes in accordance with company policies. Ensure adherence to OHS and environmental standards at all times, following the company's safety procedures. Perform both preventative and predictive maintenance as directed. Provide necessary information for ordering parts to ensure adequate inventory. Maintain company quality standards according to work instructions. Foster professional relationships by demonstrating a respectful attitude across all divisions of the company and to assist in completion on any additional duties required to help achieve the company’s objectives and goals. Work Health and Safety Responsibilities: Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment whilst keeping certifications and qualifications up-to-date for operating machinery and equipment. Obtain proper authorization and training before operating machinery, ensuring competency is signed off. Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of safe equipment operation. Avoid interfering with or misusing anything provided for health, safety, or welfare at the workplace. Qualifications: Qualified Electrical background - Experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair with a very strong understanding of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and safety. Roster: 2 days on (12hrs) 2 days off 3 days on (12hrs) 3 days off Repeated on night shift – this ensures a long weekend every second weekend There is also 5 weeks annual leave with this.
