Your responsibilities will include : Material Handling: Carefully inspect when receive materials from suppliers, ensuring accuracy by checking against delivery notes. Identify, verify, and organize materials to ensure that correct items are delivered. Packing and Dispatching: Organize and pack materials prepare them for dispatch to various sites. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of materials in the warehouse. Issue materials to site personnel as required, ensuring smooth operations. Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and tidy to facilitate quick access to materials and equipment. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all activities in the warehouse comply with safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, dispatches, and receipts to ensure transparency and facilitate audits. Communication: Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and site managers to ensure timely delivery and distribution of materials. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of warehousing processes and initiatives to increase efficiency. Key Requirements : Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role, preferably in the construction or electrical industry. Ability to operate a forklift with a valid forklift operator's license. Knowledge of electrical construction materials and their handling. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
