Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our client’s Samples Department. This role involves a combination of administrative responsibilities (70%) and hands-on warehouse duties - Including forklift duties (30%). You will be managing sample inventory for our laboratories worldwide, processing requests through Salesforce, and ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of shipments. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities: Sample Management: Oversee sample inventory, ensuring accurate records and timely processing. Maintain and update the sample inventory register using Excel and Salesforce. Process incoming and outgoing sample requests, including pick/pack duties and documentation. Shipping and Logistics: Arrange and prepare consignments using TNT, FedEx, DHL, and other courier services. Manage dangerous goods samples, liaising with DGL and other suppliers. Coordinate incoming and outgoing containers, updating container spreadsheets and tracking movements. Prepare outturn paperwork (via JDE) for containers and local deliveries. Stock and Quality Control: Conduct QR checks of stock picked from pick slips to ensure accuracy. Perform stock inventory control checks using a scissor lift. Put away stock into racking locations after receipt from containers and deliveries. Documentation and Systems: Prepare and update Salesforce documents. Organize and provide Certificates of Analysis (CofA) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for customer deliveries. Warehouse Operations: Load and unload trucks, general warehouse duties. Counterbalance forklift duties Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications. Forklift (Counterbalance) ticket required Salesforce experience is essential – familiarity with handling orders and inventory within the system is a must. Knowledge of JDE is preferred but not mandatory. Forklift ticket (counterbalance and high reach) and warehouse experience are highly advantageous. Excellent organisational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
