Company & Projects: A specialist mining consultancy with a national footprint in multi-disciplinary heavy industrial projects. Located in Parkes, with 4 other offices across Australia, they want to expand their Engineering Division with a Senior Estimator to assist with branch activity in the Central West. Projects range from $1 to $10 million in value, and the team requires additional assistance with consulting with clients across Regional NSW and from time to time Western QLD. Key responsibilities: Key decision-making and technical leadership. Conducting tender site inspections to investigate site conditions, and evaluate potential project impacts on new and refurbishment works. Complete and submit estimations and tenders, formulating precise cost estimate models. Liaising with clients to assist in project planning and resolve potential impacts on construction methods and costs due to site accessibility and conditions. Working closely with the team to procure accurate costings of equipment, materials, construction, and labor for increased performance. Strategic asset management, working closely with sub-contractors and suppliers for continuous site improvement. Participate in the development of strict WHS, Quality & Environmental standards. Estimation and tender reports To apply you will have: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator working on major projects. 2 years within Mineral Processing or Mining work, or 10 years within an OEM & cross Transferrable Skills. Chartered Engineer or MBA desirable. Salary: Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, which vary with regards to experience, $120,000 to $165,000 Super (depending on experience) and package.
