We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a Blue Chip Operator within the Renewable sector. The Role As an experienced, Senior Civil Engineer your role will be responsible for: Providing technical support to the lifecycle of project development through engineering studies and design, developed both internally and by external consultants.Coordinating EPCMs & Consultants in support of studies, infrastructure gap analysis, civil design elements of major power and green energy developments.Developing in-house engineering design packages including Earthworks, Drainage and Road Design.Preliminary planning and feasibility studies, data review for gap analysis, prepare a Basis of Design, study reports and technical performance specification documents.Assessing appropriate infrastructure solutions, including inputs to project optioneering, and define risk mitigation solutions for the company's assets.Managing civil engineering related risks throughout the project life cycle from inception, through design and into construction.Reviewing studies and designs, and where necessary challenge these to drive down cost and reduce schedule.Building strong relationships and liaise with local and international stakeholders Management of contractors and sub-contractors, including the preparation, adjudication, award and execution of tender packages for various stages of study, design and project execution. To be considered for this role you will possess: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering as a minimum.Prior experience in in the renewable energy sector or large complex civil infrastructure projects (roads, aviation, ports or rail).7 years experience in design from feasibility through to construction.Experience in the design of road, drainage, earthworks, sewer and water infrastructure.Experience and capability with drainage software, civil design software (12D), vehicle tracking software (Autocad Vehicle Tracking or AutoTURN) and GIS mapping software (ArcGIS Pro) is preferable.
