They are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who has mechanical/mechatronic experience across various industries such as automation and robotics, material handling design to testing to build (Industrial Factory Automation products). Responsibilities: You will be responsible for driving design while developing and testing industrial automation products used on Automated Production Lines (material handling, assembly, and packaging sectors). Continuous & Process Improvement. Product Development, Cost Price Calculations. 3D CAD modeling, design, and detailing - pre and current project studies. Produce designs of electromechanical cylinders, axes, and robots (Linear Motion Tech). Robotic cell design, PLC, and Robotic fault find / programming. Review and understand equipment requirements (specifications, standards etc). Team Player and the ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders. Good at leading internal discussions to collaborate on solutions in developing projects. What is required: Bachelor’s degree. Experienced in Designing Mechatronic, Mechanical and Automated equipment and parts. Worked to ISO 9001 standards.
