You will be responsible for implementing company health and safety strategies in QLD offering advice, training, and support to our staff and subcontractor network. this position offers a blend of office and onsite activity and would suit someone who already has some health and safety experience and is keen on expanding their skillset with a growing and diverse business. Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way. Qualification in Work Health & Safety, essential (minimum Certificate IV in H&S) Previous experience in the Building & Construction industry Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders Superior communication skills, both written & verbal Results driven & adaptable Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail Ability to manage multiple / competing priorities & make quick decisions Problem solving & process implementation skills Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint Valid driver licence and willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required Construction White Card Working with Children Check (preferred or to undertake during employment) We are a company of integrity and diversity.
