Your responsibilities will vary depending on your experience level but may include: Safely transporting cargo to and from our depot in Hemmant. Completing timesheets accurately and promptly, providing necessary documentation to the Transport Fleet Allocator. Interacting closely with customers to coordinate container movements and deliveries. Adhering to schedules provided by the Transport Fleet Allocators and following all road laws and safety regulations. Performing pre-start checks on equipment and conducting maintenance as required. Upholding the goals of the Chain of Responsibility, including load restraint and fatigue management. Participating in company training programs and inductions as required. Key Requirements: Hold a current MC class Licence. Hold a current MSIC (preferred not required). At least 1-2 years experience in container transport (A Double Trucks/General Freight) Experience with Load Restraint and Strapping is highly desirable. Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to safety. Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with occasional Saturday work if available. Knowledge of applicable legislative requirements, including the Chain of Responsibility.
