About the Role & Requirements: Based in the Cairns or Port Douglas region, you will oversee exciting and diverse projects that are projected for up to 18 months, including high end bespoke homes and boutique commercial fit-outs. This is a dynamic position offering a mix of office and on-site flexibility (2–3 days at home or in the site based office, depending on the project and your requirements). Project Scheduling and Delivery: Develop and manage project schedules and programmes to ensure construction milestones are achieved on time and to a high standard. Stakeholder and Subcontractor Management: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with policies, performance standards, and project requirements. Budget and Procurement Oversight: Assist with developing construction budgets, sourcing quotes, and managing procurement processes, including permits and subcontractor contracts. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, while maintaining client and stakeholder reporting requirements. Defect and Compliance Management: Manage project defects from Practical Completion through to Final Completion, ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met. What You'll Bring: Our client values attitude and communication over age or background. They are open to candidates stepping up from a Senior Site Manager role or those already established in Project Management. You’ll be a collaborative, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be comfortable working with high-end clients and have a sharp eye for detail. If you’ve previously worked in T1 or T2 environments, your structured approach will be highly regarded. To succeed, you’ll need: Strong understanding of finishes, scheduling, and programming. Proactive approach, excellent communication, and a team-oriented mindset. Experience using software like Gantt Chart's and MS Project.
