Your New Role: Reporting to the Project Manager, this role supports the Site and Project Managers and wider project team in achieving project objectives and ensuring compliance with the client’s requirements. The role is demanding and will provide its fair share of challenges in a competitive industry. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Work with project managers and site managers; Costing, purchasing and subcontract administration; Pricing of Variations and Maintenance of Variation Register; Review of Contract and Revised Drawings (for Construction); Progress payments for Subcontractors; Release of Retention at Practical and Final Completion; Final account with Client and Subcontractors; Achieve targeted margin; Administration Duties as and when required; Site work as and when needed. Your Profile: You should possess excellent time management, attention to detail, and solid organisational skills. Also, working under pressure, prioritising deadlines, and demonstrating professional verbal and written communication are necessary. It is essential to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. Being able to negotiate effectively and having a strong client focus is also crucial. You should be able to work alone to meet self-imposed deadlines but also work effectively as part of a team. Finally, having a positive, proactive, passionate, and eager-to-learn attitude is highly valued. As well as this, you will have: 3 years of Contract Administration experience within the Construction industry; Degree Qualified or relevant site background; Structural knowledge and expertise; Proven successful management and delivery of commercial construction projects; The vision for long-term employment within the Company.
