Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help build reliable infrastructure for Meta's Generative AI (GenAI) systems. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing solutions that ensure the smooth operation of our GenAI infrastructure. Our team provides technical operational support through engineering solutions and services that enable operations at scale. We leverage a range of internal customer tools and frameworks to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Join us on our mission to establish the world's first 24/7 GenAI operations team and be part of this exciting journey Responsibilities : Work closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers and ML Engineers Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that support our GenAI operations efforts Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through rigorous testing and monitoring Requirements : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field 3 years of experience in backend software engineering Experience with distributed systems, large scale data processing (Ingestion, Storage, Job Scheduling, Processing, Query/SQL, ETL jobs, APIs) Strong programming skills in languages such as C++ or Python Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building with a diverse, global, and cross-functional team Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge GenAI projects Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development opportunities Competitive salary and benefits package
