About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Verification and Validation Engineer) to support a major, 10 year federal program of work. This position is for 6 months with the potential for extension. Roles & Responsibilities Develop System Level Test Plans, System Test Procedures, and other required test documentation. Execute or supervise System test activities in line with plans, processes, and procedures. Ensure System test activities are carried out within timeframes and budget. Design automated test frameworks and utilise automated test tools to optimise test conduct and minimize manual work. Collaborate with Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and Test staff to maintain test environment control and validate test platforms. Work with System Engineering to align test methods and procedures with functional and non-functional requirements throughout the Program lifecycle. Required experience Australian citizenship Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience; OR a Secondary/Associates Degree with at least 6 years of related experience. 2 years of Verification and Validation (V&V) experience on Mission Critical systems. Ability to undergo and obtain Australian Defence security clearance to NV1. 2 years of demonstrated proficiency in fundamental IT skills, including hardware/software installation and configuration on network or computer hardware. Familiarity with Network Equipment and Telecommunications Systems, Voice Communications Systems, Radios, and Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital).
