We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the friendly, supportive and positive respite team in Warrnambool. What’s in it for you? Ongoing training opportunities Collaborating with a supportive, caring, and passionate team Accessible and approachable management Extensive training opportunities, including positive behavioural support and ethical response. 2-day induction program About the role: Reporting to the Team Leader, Getaway House, you will be responsible for providing support for children with disabilities in areas such as personal care, health and well-being, accessing the local community, learning independent living skills and implementation of all support plans. You will create and maintain an environment that empowers children and young people with disabilities and ensure their health and safety, as well as plan meals/menus in accordance with food safety guidelines to meet nutritional, cultural and religious needs. You will also participate and cooperate with the Respite Coordinator in consultative processes to improve health and safety.
