The Role: Support the key tenets of the Operational Service Model (OSM) for the relevant area, which are to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment that promotes independence, opportunity, and recovery for people who maybe experiencing situational or suicidal distress. Provide outcome focused, recovery orientated services to clients of the mental health service. Use their lived experience of mental illness and recovery experience to share experiential knowledge, skills and strategies to support individuals to navigate the mental health system and social services system and optimise outcomes for friends, families and individuals. The Team: Peacock Centre has a 12-bed inpatient unit, and a peer lead Safe Haven and Integration Hub (although the latter is supported and supervised by a Senior Clinician). These services work together to provide trauma-informed care to people experiencing relapse in their mental health and/or suicidal or situational distress. Details of appointment: Fixed term, casual, shift worker (set rotational), working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve (12) months. notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $67,193 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. 25% Casual loading - Equivalent of $42.34 to $44.73 per hour. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Allowances: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.
