Cairn’s Disaster Recovery works Either local to FNQ or FIFO / accommodation options provided for SEQ resources Leading mid-tier Civil Contractor with strong presence in the industry This favorable national civil contractor is a leading Tier 2 contractor who work within resources, local authorities and main roads projects across Australia. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads, earthworks, drainage and concrete structures. They have a number of major TMR/BCC roadwork projects valued anywhere between $50M - $400M around Southeast / North QLD. This project is based in Cairns, Far North Queensland upgrading roads and delivering slope stabilization works. They are currently looking to secure a Senior Contract Administrator with a Quantity Surveying or Engineering background to managing all commercial agreements, contracts and cash flow across a civil engineering business. This role will require someone with previous experience in contractual disputes, negotiation solutions with demanding clients in civil engineering. While working closely with Project Managers and Commercial Manager your role will include: Assist Project Managers in subcontractor and consultant management Manage head contract variations and scope changes Develop cost controls for projects and reporting requirements Account finalisation of head contract and subcontracts This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment here in Queensland. To be successful you must have at least 5 years’ project contract administration experience within civil construction and a proven track record of being able to deliver results.
