The Opportunity Our industry leading Real Estate practice group are looking for a Conveyancing Administrator to join our team in Melbourne. As a Conveyancing Administrator you will provide high level administrative support to our Conveyancing team with a focus on the tracking of trust monies. In this role you will be responsible for: Initiating and tracking of trust monies - this includes deposits, sending out trust deposit receipts, identifying and tracking unidentified trust monies. Liaising with Business Finance Trust Accounting Team on new trust accounting processes. Matter opening, ongoing maintenance and billing. Maintenance of off-plan development project spreadsheets including recording details of deposits, tax file numbers, option schedules, etc. Providing timely and accurate administrative support to licenced conveyancers. Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work. Assist with updating client information and relevant databases in a timely manner (eg, InterAction). Key skills and experience includes: Previous legal secretary experience within Real Estate/Property team. Experience with supporting a conveyancing practice, specifically off-plan conveyancing is desirable. A working understanding of managing trust monies in a conveyancing context. High attention to detail and level of accuracy in output is essential. Experience with Aderant Expert is desirable. High level of proficiency with the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) in particular, Excel is essential.
