The Allocations Clerk works within the Nursing Workforce Unit (NWU) who are responsible for assisting units/departments across Northern Health to backfill areas with roster shortages. We are currently seeking an allocation clerk to provide staffing support to units / departments based across Northern Health’s various campuses including; The Northern Hospital, Bundoora Extended Care Centre, Broadmeadows Hospital and Craigieburn Health Service. There is a Casual position available. This position incorporates a variety of shifts including: Day and Evening Shifts (Weekends and Public Holidays included). Our Hours of Operation and shift times are: Monday to Friday (including public holidays) AM shift: 05:00-13:30 Midday shift: 09:00-17:00 PM shift: 17:00-22:00 Saturdays (including public holidays) AM shift: 05:00-09:00 Mid shift 08:45-17:15 PM shift 17:00-22:00 Sundays (including public holidays) AM shift: 05:00-13:30 or 05:00-09:00 Mid shift 09:00-17:00 or 13:00-18:30 PM shift 17:00-22:00 or 18:00-22:00 Successful candidate/s must be flexible with roster requirements as we operate a roster to cover absences as required To be successful in this role you will have: Current administrative experience Be motivated, flexible and adaptable Have excellent communication and organisational skills Display excellent interpersonal skills with a strong patient focus Be team oriented Be proficient in Microsoft office Able to multi-task and work well under pressure Next Steps If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
