Industry Leader with a strong pipeline of works Great opportunity to be a leader within our fantastic Asphalt Laying team We pride ourselves on being a family company, that's also a market leader The Opportunity We are looking for an Asphalt Laying Supervisor to join our Southern Region Infrastructure Services Division. Located in Mildura, the role will see you leading a crew consisting of a Foreperson and 8-9 Asphalt Laying crew members working throughout metropolitan North Western Victoria, S.A and Southern NSW region . Reporting to the Department Manager – Mildura this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your leadership capability. (Please note that this role may require some work away from home on occasion) You will be responsible for: You will be responsible for overseeing surfacing operations within Mildura and surrounding area which includes coordinating, supervising and mentoring the crew to perform works safely and efficiently to achieve positive project outcomes. You will also be responsible for: Liaising with clients in regards to job needs and expectations Job inspection and set up Programming schedule of works Planning and management of onsite activities including subcontractors and hire equipment Management of onsite safety, quality and environmental requirements to meet Fulton Hogan and client requirements Effective people management of the crew Timely completion of reporting requirements What we need from you? Extensive experience in the asphalt industry Conduct monthly safety toolbox meetings Carry out site safety and environment inspections Prior experience as a Supervisor or Foreperson Excellent organisational skills An ability to proactively problem solve day to day issues Strong communication skills Ability to effectively understand and manage subcontractor activities (E.g. Traffic Management, Profilers) A proven ability to establish high performing multiskilled teams through coaching, mentoring & training Available to work Monday – Friday including overtime, nightshift and regular weekends Sound like you?
