If you are curious & creative, invested in not only your own success but also the growth of others, and believe in building the Great Australian Food Company, then you might be the one for us The Role Bega’s Koroit site manufactures a range of dairy products including skimmed and full cream milk powders, buttermilk powders, milk protein concentrate, lactoferrin powder, retail milk powders, anhydrous milk fat, liquid cream and butter. The site produces a staggering 35 tonnes of lactoferrin extract annually. Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring iron building protein found in milk, and it is regarded for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. The Continuous Improvement Engineer is a newly created role at our Koroit site. The primarily role this person will do is support the Koroit IT network requests and the Bega excellence program. This role is also a mix of small to large projects across the site and requires good relationship building as well as good IT communication skills. Responsibilities Resolution of IT / communications related requests. Continuous improvement / pipeline and Capital improvement project delivery. Upgrade and maintenance of site Continuous Improvement tracking tool (Grafana). Maintenance and upgrades of Koroit site IT infrastructure. All reasonable requests with CI Manager approval About you Experience in a similar role within Dairy/Food industry Strong IT systems and communication skills Strong problem-solving and relationship building skills Strong understanding of OHS, Environmental, Food Safety, quality, GMP and HACCP processes Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
