Mater is looking for an Administration Officer to join our Health Literacy Project team. Based at our South Brisbane campus. This is a maximum-term role, working part-time (15 hours per week with flexibility in days and work hours) until June 2025. Salary range: $38.81 - $43.16 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing You will support the implementation of the Health Literacy Project by working with the Project Coordinator to assist coordination of meetings, minute taking and data entry. Support the delivery of workshops such as booking venues, food and childcare and create flyers for promotion Process invoices and other financial administrative tasks associated with the project Support record keeping in relation to distribution of health literacy resources and promotional material related to the project Data entry related to the project including evaluation data Ideally you will have experience in administrative, finance and/or marketing. You will also meet the below criteria: A demonstrated knowledge and/or experience of working with external stakeholders. Experience of being from or working with people from a multicultural background is highly desirable Proven track record in office administration including data entry and ability to learn new processes and manage office procedures in a timely and organised manner. Proven problem solving skills including ability to identify problems, seek support as required and resolve issues. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated integrity with respect to confidentiality of official and consumers interests Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and work cooperatively as a team member. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially EXCEL Why join us?
