About the role Right now, we are looking for a IT Systems Administrator to join the team at PeopleIN. You will provide 3rd tier support to end-users, vendors and clients via email, telephony, and the IT ticketing system. This role will involve transitioning acquired businesses IT systems into PeopleIN, maintaining, upgrading, and patching existing systems, planning and deployment of new system throughout the environment. You will also be responsible for the following: Maintaining, upgrading, and patching existing systems, planning and deployment of new systems throughout the environment Optimising existing IT Operations Landscape - You will assess existing operational environment and assist the Head of IT in an ongoing improvement plan Monitoring IT Servers and Systems - You will be accountable for ensuring the critical systems are available and operating within service levels Directing vendors, partners, and IT technicians Coordinating and managing upgrades and installations Coordinating and managing IT integration projects Additional ad hoc duties as required About you To be successful in this role you will be career focused with the drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they arise. You will also have: 3-5 years experience working IT operations as a System Administrator Knowledge and experience supporting Azure environments. Knowledge and experience supporting Windows Server Operating systems (2016 and above) Knowledge of system administration tools (Active Directory, PowerShell, O365 Admin etc.) Knowledge and experience supporting SharePoint and One Drive Customer and stakeholder management skills Good knowledge of SQL Good knowledge of end user computing technology (both desktop and mobile devices) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to understand complex business issues and technical constraints. Ability to interact with external suppliers to ensure service levels are agreed and maintained.
