Job Description About the Position: The Broome Civic Centre provides residents and visitors to Broome a quality venue for a wide variety of cultural, group or private events with a distinctive sense of character and atmosphere. The Shire of Broome aims to position the venue as affordable, practical centre providing a diverse and accessible programme of activities and events. The Venue & Functions Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Broome Civic Centre, providing a quality venue for a diverse range of cultural, social, and recreational activities. This role involves managing bookings, coordinating event logistics, maintaining the venue and delivering excellent customer service. Additionally, the position supports community engagement by maximizing opportunities for events and activities, enhancing service delivery through feedback, and fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The Venue & Functions Administrator will work collaboratively with the Civic Centre Coordinator and other stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service and contribute to the Centre’s ongoing success.
