The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in tiles or related materials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing expert advice on our product range. Key Responsibilities Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of National Tiles' products, including specifications, applications, and installation processes. Consultative Selling: Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate tile solutions to meet their projects' aesthetic and functional needs. Quoting and Negotiation: Prepare and present competitive quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software. Qualifications and Skills Required Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field At least one year of full-time experience in technical sales or an equivalent role. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the tile, construction, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets. General Strong understanding of tile products, materials, and installation processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively within a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
