On account of continued growth an opportunity has arisen for an engaging commercial lawyer to join the organisation’s welcoming and collaborative in-house legal team in Melbourne’s CBD. The position reports to a Senior Managing Legal Counsel and provides plenty of senior stakeholder engagement and interaction. The successful candidate will be a commercially focussed lawyer with general commercial law, commercial contracting and corporate advisory experience and have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE from a well-regarded commercial practice or in-house environment. Key responsibilities Provide legal and strategic advice and support Advise on, negotiate and draft a wide variety of agreements, policies, processes and tender documents Point of contact for internal clients and external parties across the operations portfolio Develop relationships with key stakeholders and their teams Enhance and maintain template documents Liaise with external advisors Provide training where required This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun, innovative, and agile team.
