The opportunity: We are currently seeking a Senior Dat Engineer/Analyst Programmer to work in our Data Analytics team. Key accountabilities: Database creation and maintenance in Azure platform Master and reference data maintenance and improvement. Optimise, design and implement continuous process improvements for database management and performance management. Advanced experience in relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL), including not limited to database administration, data modelling, improving system operations, data quality and security management, documentation Experience in data orchestration in Azure ADF Advanced programming languages (such as, Python, C#, Java, PowerShell, Bash) Demonstrated recent experience in using Azure platform Experience in database migration from on-prem to cloud Experience in other services in Azure such as functions, logic apps, Synapse analytics Experience in non-relational databases Experience in IoT Qualifications / Education / Experience required for this role: Strong understanding of cloud platforms 3 years’ experience in Azure platform and on-prem databases.
