About us St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is situated in West Bundaberg and accepts enrolments from the whole Bundaberg district. We are proud to be a part of the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton, and are closely aligned to the Bundaberg parish, which encompasses the whole Bundaberg region. Increasing enrolments have allowed the school to continually improve the opportunities we provide for our students. However, the school has retained its intimate, ‘family-like’ atmosphere through the efforts of our very active parent community in partnership with staff. St Patrick's is a Catholic co-educational three stream school catering for over 500 students from Prep to Year 6. Our school has a dedicated team of professionals who work collaboratively to provide high-quality education through innovative and data-informed teaching and learning programs that will support the academic, spiritual and emotional needs of every student. Your Role Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons for this term-time position of Administration Secretary . This is a term-time continuing position for 38hpw, commencing from January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. The Administration Secretary is a key role in our school office, providing exceptional customer service to new and existing families as well as supporting students, staff and the school leadership team in a variety of ways. Outstanding interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and effective organisational and technological capabilities are pre-requisites of the successful applicant. The Administration Secretary will provide a variety of secretarial and administrative support which enables the maintenance of efficient administration systems which serve the educational function of the school. About you The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and/or experience and an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education. In addition, you will have excellent time management skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.
