As a Security Supervisor (Events, Rostering, and Administration) , you’ll play a key role in managing security operations for diverse events, ensuring smooth execution and safety compliance. From supervising security personnel to creating efficient rosters and handling vital administrative tasks, this role requires a blend of leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills. What You’ll Do: Event Security Management: Lead security teams, oversee crowd control, and ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and property during events. Rostering and Staff Management: Develop and maintain effective rosters, manage shift changes, and monitor staff performance. Administrative Excellence: Handle reports, logs, compliance documentation, and assist with budgeting and procurement. Customer Service & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the key contact for security-related matters during events, fostering positive relationships with clients and event organizers. Continuous Improvement: Analyse security operations and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency and safety. To thrive as a Security Supervisor, you should have: Licenses/Certifications: Current NSW Security Licence - 1A Classification (Required) Current First Aid and CPR certifications (Required) Certificate II in Security Operations Working with Children Check (Required) Police Check (Required) Experience: 1-2 years in security supervision, ideally with a focus on event security or large-scale operations. Background in rostering or dynamic staff scheduling is a bonus. Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Exceptional organisational and multitasking capabilities. Knowledge of health, safety, and crowd control protocols. Proficiency in security management software.
