Introduction All Saints’ College Maitland is seeking a seeking a Temporary Part Time (27 hours per week) Administrative Officer to join the team from January to October 2025 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All Saints’ College is a coeducational year 7-12 Catholic School which is part of the Maitland Newcastle Diocese system of schools. With approximately 1200 students and 185 staff learning and working across 2 campuses, we are the largest school in our diocese and one of the largest Catholic Schools in the state. The Junior Campus caters for our year 7-10 students, and the Senior Campus caters for our senior students in years 11 and 12. Following the decision by the Diocese in 2021 the College will be transitioning to one campus in the next few years. Description POSITION DESCRIPTION The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. Administrative Officers within the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle may be classified as either a level 4,5 or 6. Skills And Experiences EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks Intermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs and excel Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines An understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy.
