Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract with the Planning and Architecture team. This role focuses on designing and implementing cloud solutions and providing expert guidance to internal teams. • Duration : 6 months, commencing mid-January 2025 • Location : Brisbane CBD / HYBRID Key Responsibilities : • Design, deploy, and migrate systems across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. • Develop solution architectures for Private, AWS, and Azure public cloud services aligned with ISO27001 and ASD Essential 8 controls. • Document detailed technical designs and adopt modern practices like Infrastructure as Code. • Collaborate with stakeholders across Whole-of-Government. • Mentor operational staff to support new technologies. Essential Skills : • 5 years of experience in cloud solution design and implementation. • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Terraform, and infrastructure domains (VMware, Windows, Linux, networking). • Knowledge of automation tools like Azure DevOps or Ansible. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Mandatory Certification : • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Desirable Certifications : • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. • Azure Databricks Platform Architect. • Azure Security Certifications. • TOGAF or equivalent. • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional.
