About: Our client is committed to producing quality civil construction works for the Commercial, Industrial, Mining and Residential sectors. As they've expanded project wise, they are seeking a hard-working engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers Preparation and sending of sub-contract packages Sub-contract tender analysis "Take off" of all elements of construction Document control Preparation of sub-contract comparison schedules Attend subcontractor meetings Preparing and sending RFI's Preparing and issuing variations Preparation of sub-contracts and supplier orders Negotiating sub-contract agreements Cost reporting Dispute resolution Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar is ideal. Min 2 years previous experience in a similar role Collaborative and team minded, working closely with the Project team, Legal team, and other stakeholders. Pro-active, solutions finder, able to work autonomously. Experience in a similar role in building, construction, energy, or other heavy industry preferred.
