Description About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to enhance the operations of our SUSD service. This role involves providing high-quality reception and administrative support, contributing to the continual improvement of our service. You will perform general clerical, office management, receptionist, and project-based tasks in consultation with the Service Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities Reception Duties: Answer incoming calls politely and professionally. Respond to general enquiries accurately, direct callers, and take messages. Greet and assist all visitors. Administrative Support: Maintain a neat and tidy reception and office area. Support with intake, referral and panel as required Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages. Perform general clerical duties: word processing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, scheduling meetings, and filing. Prepare meeting agendas and minutes. Assist with staff rosters, receipting, banking, and petty cash reconciliations. Complete maintenance requests and maintain records. Maintain key registers and inventories. Ensure adequate stationery supplies within budgetary guidelines. Support project-based work and data entry tasks. Skills And Experiences About You Qualifications Relevant office administration qualifications or equivalent. Experience Knowledge of standard office procedures. Excellent organisational skills and independent judgment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office and internet research. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Flexible in a changing environment. Desirable Experience in a not-for-profit organisation. Knowledge of relevant mental health agencies and services. Other Requirements National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months) A valid WA driver’s license First Aid Certificate Working with Children Check This role is based at our Bunbury SUSD, working 22.5 hours per week. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work across Monday to Friday.
