The Role: Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, this front-line position is fast-paced and diverse, but is not based in a high-volume call centre. You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of new and existing customers, as well as supporting the local sales team and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business. Your key responsibilities will include: Responding to inbound enquiries from customers around Australia and providing technical advice on the best product application Completing quotes and managing the Sales Order process through to delivery Ensuring customers expected delivery dates are maintained and any changes are communicated with all involved stakeholders Providing first-level technical product support and escalating second-level support to relevant engineers or project managers Ensuring Warranty claims are investigated and resolved within a timely manner Completing various administrative tasks – new customer applications, pricing change requests, processing claims and credit returns, and updating customer information in the CRM Generating and analysing sales reports to support strategic decision-making Organising travel and accommodation for the sales team as required Coordinating sales meetings and preparing documentation for events and sales conferences Assisting with the organisation of sales events, networking events, industry trade shows, training sessions, marketing and social media campaigns and/or promotional activities With a strong focus on LEAN principles and a culture that embraces continuous improvement, you will get involved in relevant sales optimisation projects and actively participating in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your Profile: Proactive and solution focused, you are passionate about going above and beyond when partnering with your customers and delivering exceptional service levels to both internal and external stakeholders. You have several years prior experience in a similar Internal Sales or Customer Service role, working within a complex and fast paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who has; Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of business A sharp eye for detail and a strict adherence to process The ability to multitask and reprioritise when business demands are changed Prior experience with CRM and ERP software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team This exciting opportunity is not based in a call centre, so having the ability to build trusted relationships with your ongoing customers and “walking the talk” is what will see you succeed.
