We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive sales in VIC . With the support of the greater team, you will increase IPD’s market share and enable IPD to achieve its objectives with regard to sustainable growth and profitability. Reporting to the Sales Manager for VIC and TAS , this role will be based at our Keysborough office. Duties & responsibilities: Developing and executing a sales action plan aligned with state strategy to meet individual and team sales targets. Identifying and engaging potential clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Providing expert advice and technical support to customers by conducting product demonstrations and training sessions. Representing IPD in the assigned region, providing market feedback to management, and coordinating customer visits with product specialists. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Experience & attributes: Qualifications in electrical trade or engineering Previous experience in sales & business development highly desirable, preferably in low voltage products A strong understanding of the contract and tendering processes high level of written and verbal communication skills Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures Willingness to travel as required Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software Proven communication and negotiation skills Excellent time management and planning skills Benefits & provisions: Attractive base remuneration package Generous incentive structure Fully maintained company vehicle or vehicle allowance Laptop & mobile phone provided.
