Customer Service Officer | 5 Month Contract | Up to $376.87 p/d incl. super $338 p/d super 5 month contract Parramatta/WFH About the Role As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the key point of contact for customers with enquiries and applications related to tolling, ticketing, or concession schemes. You’ll manage and resolve customer issues, process updates and corrections, and ensure the accuracy of accounts, all while delivering top-tier service. Please note, this role is responsible for responding to written enquiries and requires strong written communication skills. This role involves no inbound/outbound calling. Key Responsibilities Customer Dispute Resolution: Handle escalated customer disputes and feedback with professionalism, working closely with our Contact Centre and second-tier management to provide solutions. Account Management: Ensure the accuracy of customer accounts by identifying and correcting transactional anomalies, processing adjustments, and adhering to financial policies and standards. Application Processing: Efficiently process concession and schemes applications, ensuring compliance with business rules and policies. Relationship Building: Strengthen customer relationships by investigating issues, applying sound judgment, and recovering unpaid monies. Debt Minimization: Proactively monitor customer accounts, analyse reports, reconcile accounts, and initiate outbound contact to resolve credit-related issues. Data Entry and Verification: Accurately verify and enter license plate numbers from images to support toll recovery efforts. Administrative Support: Perform a variety of customer service and transaction processing functions, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to defined procedures. About You At least 2 years NSW Government experience essential Strong experience with Salesforce Demonstrated ability to process financial transactions efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing to customers, internal teams and third-party organisations. Demonstrated investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide sound recommendations per policies and business rules. Demonstrated ability to manage the varying expectations of internal and external customers and stakeholders through effective use of interpersonal and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to process customer applications within business rules and policy. Ability to interpret and apply workplace policies, procedures, business rules and judgment in the formulation of responses and recommendations. Demonstrate willingness to work flexibly and collaboratively in a high volume team-based environment.
